About Vector Tech Lab
Vector Tech Lab is the umbrella brand for our software, based in Druskininkai, Lithuania.
How it started
I'm Alexander Mauz. I'm German and have lived in Lithuania since 2022. I work as a photographer and in marketing, so I'm on the road a lot.
Every product here started with a problem I had myself. VectorInvoice began with my own pile of receipts: every month I typed them up for VAT, and at the end of the year I wanted to see the 30 % flat-rate deduction next to my real costs. So I built a tool for myself first.
Vector Plan comes from planning. I planned my own wedding, I was part of the organisation at the Dakar rally, and I organise events. Each time the calendar lived in one place, the packing lists in another and the briefing in a chat nobody could find again. I wanted one hub for the whole week.
Who's behind it
I build Vector Tech Lab together with Nic Joubert, my co-founder. Nic is South African, spent two decades in London and recently moved to Lithuania. We work from Druskininkai.
How we work
- Check first, then act. The software suggests, people confirm.
- Less, but clear. Fewer features that work reliably.
- European. Run with European providers, privacy under the GDPR.
- Multilingual. Our sites are available in English, Lithuanian, Polish, German, Latvian and Russian.
